Practitioner, not agency · Provo, Utah

Marketing help from someone who does this every day.

I'm a full-time marketing director at an Inc. 5000 company. On the side, I help small businesses set up a marketing system that works, train their team to run it, and then get out of the way. No retainers. No contracts. My goal is to work myself out of a job.

The honest pitch

Why I do this, and why it's cheaper than an agency

My day job is running all of the marketing for Solzorro IT Services: the website, SEO, Google Ads, social ads, all of it. The system I use there helped us land on the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest growing companies, and it has us ranking number 1 on Google and in AI search results for over 40 keywords in our market.

On nights and weekends, I teach that same system to small businesses. Not theory from a course. The actual playbook I ran that morning.

Here's the difference between me and an agency: an agency's business model needs you to stay dependent. Mine is the opposite. I set your marketing up correctly, train your team to run it, and show you how to hire affordable specialists for the rest. A few sessions, a clear roadmap, and you're self-sufficient. If questions come up later, I'm a resource you can call. That's it.

"My biggest goal is to market myself out of a long-term job. If you still need me every month, I didn't do mine right."
A fair comparison

Hiring an agency vs. working with me

Most agencies quote small businesses $2,000 to $4,000 per month, before ad spend. Here's what that money buys, side by side.

A typical agency

$24,000 to $48,000 per year, ongoing
  • Monthly retainer whether results come or not
  • Junior staff do the actual work after the sales call
  • Your accounts and logins live in their systems
  • Reports you can't fully interpret
  • Momentum fades once you're a "maintenance" client
  • You know less about marketing a year later

Working with me

A few sessions, $100 to $300 total
  • Pay only for the hours you use
  • Advice from a working marketing director, first hand
  • You own every account, login, and asset
  • Your team is trained to read the numbers themselves
  • A written roadmap and playbook you keep forever
  • You know exactly how your marketing works
